Please bear in mind that it might be difficult to get some item through customs, therefore we recommend to purchase all items that you wish to donate here in Phuket.

People tend to donate physical items such as toys, furniture, and so on, but we would like to positively encourage our supporters, friends and all companies to donate money directly to the Phuket Sunshine Village to continue to help the children and society as well as to secure the sustainability of the project itself.

Since our call for help following the Tsunami on 26.12.2004, we have been blessed with the generous response from people and organizations worldwide, to whom we are very grateful. Without this outpour of generosity our project would not have been possible.

To finance the operation of a village such as ours is of course not an easy task: food, housing, education, medical care for almost 100 children, all come at a cost, even in a relatively cheap country like Thailand. Our plan is also to finance a higher education or at least an apprenticeship for the children once they have completed high-school.

This is why our fundraising is a continuous effort, to insure a long and uninterrupted operation of the village. To this day, our Foundation still 100% depends on private donations and is not affiliated to any large N.G.O.
