We fully support the fundraising for the boy Rino Mangon Vogt who
was diagnosed with the Ebstein's Anomaly, a serious heart problem!

Last Sunday the 27th of June 2010 we had our 3rd anniversary celebration,
which was a great day for the kids and all visitors.
Thank you very much to all members of the Grumpy Old Men Society for supporting the PSV Foundation.
Donation handover (THB 50,932.-) by the Grumpy Old Man Society to the PSV for getting a brand new
Water Treatment System for the Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation.

Indigo Pearl Phuket and the Virgin Blue Group of Airlines have teamed up during the inaugural flights of V.Australia and Pacific Blue (international airlines of Virgin Blue) now flying direct from Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne each week to Phuket International Airport. During each of the inaugural flights from the various cities Indigo Pearl Phuket has given a complimentary week stay in one of their suites and V.Australia two business class tickets. The package flight and accommodation was then auction during each flight.
The three auctions raised a total of Baht 373,616 which Baht which has been presented to Member B.O.D. Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation on 22 January at 11:00am by Arnaud Girodon, General Manager of Indigo Pearl and Nittaya Phetam, Representative of V Australia.
We are delighted to have the support of V.Australia and these auctions have raised much needed funds for the children who were affected by the Tsunami in the southern provinces of Thailand,” said Arnaud Girodon.

Our village, which is almost 2 years old now, welcomes not less then 89 children on
full time basis, and takes care of another 43 children on day care basis.

The Phuket Oilfield Classic 2009 Charity Golf Tournament was a huge success.

handed over a check of THB 760,000.-
to the Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation.
The kids, the staff and the B.O.D. of the Phuket Susnhine Village are happy
to have supporters like Mark Cameron and his friends.
From Friday the 3rd to Sunday the 5th of April 2009 a Charity Golf Tournament will take place.
Profits raised during this tournament will go to the Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation.
Last week Phuket Sunshine Village children were blessed by 12 beautiful rays of sunshine
or 12 of 36 Miss France beauty contestants who were visiting the PSV as part of their
week long video shoots in various sunny locations of Phuket.
The contestants gave out some gifts or "cadeaux" in French for the children.
As the beauty contestants helped the girls groom their new dolls,
we wished the beauty contestants ‘au revoir and ‘bonne chance’ in their Miss France 2009 contest,
and hope the winner at least returns to see these future Miss Thailand girls of Phuket Sunshine Village.

All the children in the Phuket Sunshine Village are well and happy.
We are proude to announce a new local supporter for the children in the PSV.
The INDIGO PEARL RESORT is supporting from now on the PSV with various activities in the resort.

Together with them we will have 72 children, in different age groups, living permanently in the PSV.

At the end of March 2008 the children from the PSV welcomed the CEO of OAD Reizen
(Mr. Ter Haar),
one of the biggest travel agencies in the Netherlands.

The official opening of this exposition will be on the 26th of April 2008 5 pm.

The Christmas Party on the 22nd of December for the children of the PSV was a lot of fun.

On the 17th of December the 2nd official opening of the Phuket Sunshine Village took place.
Our big supporter the French Red Cross invited to the opening which was attended by the
President of the FRC, the French Ambassador, the 1st vice Governor of Phuket,
members of the FRC, the local Red Cross, Members of Lions Club Phuket Andaman Sea, Lions Club Phuket Pearl, Lions Club Phuket, international and local Press

The Village is getting more and more in to a regularly run.
Still a lot of things are to organize, policies have to be reviewed
but the kids are happy about their new home.

The PSV is running well since the opening, every week we have at least 2 big groups to visit the PSV.
The staff is organizing a lot of activities with the kids and the support of the community is great.

The official hand over of the Phuket Sunshine Village from the French Red Cross
to the Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation took place at the 29th of June.
The Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation is now officially open.

The Government of Luxembourg signed the document to allow the
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Humanitarian Development to support the children sponsorship,
via the Non Governmental Organization , Lions Club International - District 113 Luxembourg
and the Fund Maryse and Julie ,of the 16 children living in the house
Maryse and Julie in the Phuket Sunshine Village.
We found a sponsor for the second Mini Bus for the PSV Kids OAD Reizen, a big tour operator in the Netherlands,
was so kind and donated the full amount for one Mini Bus.

The construction of the PSV will be finished at the end of May 2007.
The handover of the buildings from the FRC to the PSV Foundation will take place in the middle of June 2007.
We will publish the official handover ceremony day latest in the middle of March 2007.
We are in the middle of the recruiting phase for the staff of the PSV and
got already a lot of applicants for the various positions.
On the 1st of November 2006, the President of the
International Association of Lions Clubs Mr.Jimmy M. Ross
visited the PSV construction site
and planted several trees for the village.

A drawing contest was held at Koh Sirea School (October 2006).
